"Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!"
Skyorch and his Juggernaut Soulripper have led many a Chaos army to victory. Skyorch is the epitome of war and Soulripper is the foulness of the Chaos Gods given form.
These two are original, long OOP, metal Citadel 'Realms of Chaos' minis from the late 80s.

Bill the Giant
Bill is a favourite on our battlefields, battling amongst the Greenskins. He has held tight against many an aggressor (and eaten quite a few too). We have no idea which company made the miniature and have searched the web high and low for an answer. We know we bought him in the 80s and that's all we have to go on. If you know then please let us know. We would be very appreciative! :)
The Battle of Forloft Tower
Scenario Style - Battle to the Death
Army A - 2,500pt Undead + 2,500pt Lizardmen
Army B - 2,500pt Skaven + 2,500pt Orcs
Played - August 2017
We thought we would post these photos even though we didn't record enough information for a full battle report. We will do so on the next one. It was a complete route of the Skaven & Orcs however. The dice gods were definitely not on our side and the Magic phase was miscast after miscast. War is hell. Enjoy!

Daemon Bloodeye - Bloodthirster of Khorne
"I beheld a raging beast, chained to that wall of bone by brazen and bloody chain. Its every bellow shook the ground upon which I stood; its every utterance fulsome with the fury of war. As the Daemon's gaze fell upon me, it demanded with booming voice that I set it free, that it might bring the glory of bloodletting to this realm once more. Momentarily I considered the beast's demands, for an ally in that dark realm would have been a welcome thing. But then I realised the folly of such a course; that Daemon had no place in its black heart for loyalty to one such as I; rage was its only master, and slaughter the only companion it would ever acknowledge. I left that place with speed, and prayed that the chains would hold 'til I was gone." —Liber Malefic
This bad boy is a muli-part pewter Greater Daemon of Khorne circa 1988. One of the originals that pales in size in comparison to his contemporary deamonic brothers but he has held his own on many a battlefield.

The Great Warpfire Lightning Cannon
These contraptions can cause some serious damage...if they don't blow up! This is a very recent model that we purchased painted off an Ebay seller together with some clanrats and a couple of weapon teams. We already had a Warpfire Lightning Cannon model from the early 2000s but that hasn't been painted yet. It's still in Primer limbo awaiting a brush. This baby presents a formidable table control element that has already started to earn its keep.

Fe Fi Fo Fimm
"The Fimir inhabit the wetlands of the Warhammer world, typically within crudely constructed fortifications resembling nothing more than a pile of rocks. From these locations, the Fimir raid the homes of humans, taking captives for daemonic sacrifices. The Fimir loathe sunlight, and are followed by wreaths of mist to shield them from it, and their homes are always shrouded by it."
These guys were great. Too expensive (both in points and $ costs for the minis) for what they brought to the battlefield, but we loved them. Unfortunately with our limited buying power in our teens we never got the magical 5th Fimm to give the unit their much vaunted Covering Mist ability. The minis (and the entire species!) were eventually phased out by GW.
They are now part of our "Mercenaries" forces that can be added to relevant armies as required.

Borgus Yeltzin - Chaos Champion of Nurgle
With the thirty-seven keys of Tzeentch, we open the way for our brothers.
With the thousand whispers of Slaanesh, we call to them.
With the twelve plagues of Nurgle, we fell their enemies.
With the mighty axe of Khorne, we cut open the world for them.
Borgus Yeltzin (the name we gave him after a certain Russian President from the early 90s) was one of the last miniatures we painted before giving up tabletop wargaming in 1993. The mini is a Marauder "Mounted Chaos Knight with Warhammer" (MM92/2) and one of the last minis produced during the Golden Age of Games Workshop.
